There is much concern about the amount of loneliness and social isolation that we experience today. In our families and churches, in workplaces, in the crowds of smiling faces, there is a significant amount of hidden loneliness. Many feel more isolated than ever before. What are the factors contributing to this individual and cultural phenomenon? What are some of the answers that can lead us to a life of connection, belonging, and personal peace?
Recent research has shown that social isolation has a significant and severe physical and emotional impact. In this workshop, Pastors Peter Holmes and Susan Williams will explore this 21st century epidemic from a Biblical, sociological and psychological perspective. They will look at the healing we can let loose in our own lives and what we can offer to others.
Join us on Thursday, January 16th from 6:30-9:30pm at The Commons for this free workshop.
