Daring to Become Authentic: Tools to Grow More of the Person You Are Created to Be
Register for the Women’s Weekend Away 2021!
The hunger to be authentic is universal. It’s part of being human. Inside all of us is a drive to live in our true self before others, with ourselves, and, when we are ready, in relationship with God. At the time of the Early Church, it was described as a ‘personal thriving.’ Christ called it ‘letting your light shine.’
And yet there are so many pressures in our life that assault us. Daily stress, historic trauma, peer pressure, sheer exhaustion, addictions, and other coping mechanisms—these things (and many more) deplete our capacity to live well.
In this retreat, we will be exploring how to let loose more of that holy authenticity that brings life to us and to those around us, regardless of our circumstances.
Pastor Susan Williams will lead our weekend along with our Women’s Team. The weekend will include good food and plenty of snacks, time to explore historic Butte, a Q&A ‘clinic’ for personal questions, opportunity for discussion, and a time to meet the Lord together with communion and prayer for healing.
By the end of the workshop you will:
- Be able to recognize more of the person you are created to be
- Have several personally-relevant tools to help you grow more of you
- Have new insight into how Scripture equips us to take up maturity in Christ
- Understand what threatens your capacity to be authentic and how to overcome it
- Have some new skills for living authentically in ‘tricky’ relationships
- Have heard numerous testimonies of healing and/or growth in relationship with the Lord
- Grow friendships and find companionship for your own journeying

This is an all-inclusive weekend that will begin with dinner on Friday, April 9th at 6pm and will continue through Sunday, April 11th at 11am.
All workshop materials, meals, and accommodations are included.
